Michael "Mike" Aslin
Michael R. Aslin, age 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home with his siblings by his side. He was born on December 31, 1946 to Raymond and Florence (nee Rechcygl) Aslin. Michael loved woodworking, was fascinated by computers and was an Electrical Engineer. Michael was employed at Square D and he designed two switches for Ford and they are displayed at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. He was a Staff Sargent (E6) in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time by his pond with his grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Michael is survived by his siblings, Karen Aslin, Darlene (Frank) Ebert, Daryl (Nancy) Aslin, Debbie (Earl Lossmann) Blake; nieces and nephews, Kira Graceffa, Jessie (Brian) Strupp, Chad Blake, Andrea (Brian) Brehm, Joshua Ebert, Sheena (Joe) Wolf, Jacob Ebert, Justin (April Kiekhaefer) Aslin; grand-nieces and grand-nephews Cole Strupp, Olivia Strupp, Paxton Rechcygl, Henry Wolf, Stella Strupp, Sawyer Wolf, Braeden Graceffa, Charlotte Wolf, Kinlee Aslin, Deacon Blake, Savannah Brehm, Elodie Blake, Sierra Brehm and “Tornado Warning” Brehm! He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the time of the service (5:00 PM).
